Sorry for the month long silence. The whole family has been crazy sick with colds, coughs, fevers, tummy bugs, sinusitis, ear infections. Take your pick.
I have my first ear infection since babyhood - never knew adults get them.
ANYWAY.
Rowan's going to be a year old next week!! Yipppppeeee! We did it! It's been a joyous time, interspersed with a lot of challenges. But it's all worth it.
Rowan's FOURTH tooth is coming in. His teeth make him look so different. The top two are really big. I think his molars are coming in too, because he's been cranky and always sticks his finger way back in his mouth. I'm surprised by the way his teeth are popping up all over the place!
He's been talking non-stop and I do believe his first official word is " Tree." ("Daddy" was a false alarm from over-enthusiastic parents.) Then there's his all-time fave, " Babbuh!"
"Babbuh" means... pretty much everything. Squirrel, bird, lights, cars...

Still sleep-deprived. When is this kid going to sleep?

The most hilarious thing so far is how he fake-coughs when I do.
