Pee pee
Guess who's going pee-pee on the potty EVERY morning?! Ah, the stuff that makes parents happy. Your kid peeing in the pot. Wow.
Sarcasm aside, we're so proud of Rowan. Every morning, he goes to the bathroom, and takes his pants and diapers off and sits on his cute Elmo potty. Then he pees. He looks so proud of himself! And we make a HUGE fuss about it, like he's discovered a new law of physics or something. We called all our family so he could tell them and then Kedar takes him to Dunkin Donuts for a treat before dropping him off to daycare. Bribery is highly recommended.
Now the biggie - going poo-poo in the potty. That might be a few months away. Wish us luck!!

Can you come over and teach N to eat by himself. I am so sick of being the spoon feeding desi momma!

S - I have to say my husband actually potty-trained Rowan single-handedly. But are they really potty-trained until they poop? Who knows. PR was so amazing. Imagine not cleaning or cooking for over a week! And never being cold.;-)
K - I know what you mean. I constantly fight the urge to feed Rowan - atleast so he can hurry up and finish. I read somewhere that once they're capable of feeding themselves, you should NEVER feed them. Builds self-esteem etc etc. Easier said than done!
