He must have heard the phrase somewhere. As I was drinking a glass of water, Rowan says, " Drink like a man, Mommy!"
I'm still laughing.
Halloween is around the corner and Rowan is going to be a swashbuckling pirate. Yesterday I told him to say "Trick or treat, smell my feet!" and of course he proceeded to sniff his feet quite thoroughly.
He's like this miniature person now, who speaks long, grammatically correct sentences albeit with baby pronunciations. "Look" is "Loot". "Tiger" is "Tider". And "Coming" is "Toming".
It makes for very interesting conversation all around.
